Crush (also known as a Puppy Love, One side love, calf love or kitten love) is an informal term for feelings of romantic or platonic love, often felt during childhood and adolescence.

Ask a teenager about the differences between a crush and love and they will be clueless. Ask a person in their twenties about the difference, and they will probably mistake one feeling for the other too.
